SECURE+ Awards

At the 2013 Leadership Summit, ESA honored companies that provide consumers with innovative protection, connection and control solutions.

SECURE+ integrators were eligible for awards in a variety of categories, which reflect their expertise and customer satisfaction in the installation or use of electronic security products, services or monitoring.

The Peace of Mind Award - Winner: ADT, Boca Raton, Fla.
Definition of Category: The Peace of Mind Award is open to companies that have demonstrated how the use of an integrated electronic security system with enhanced features can bring peace of mind to a customer.

Essential Qualities: This award recognizes any electronic security system that uses interactive services combined with intrusion, fire and toxic gas detection; enhanced features; and monitoring from remote devices.

The Protect and Connect Award - Winner: Point, Provo, Utah
Definition of Category: The Protect and Connect Award is open to companies that have demonstrated how an integrated electronic security system with enhanced features can help a customer protect their home and family by being connected to their home remotely.

Essential Qualities: This award recognizes any electronic security system that uses interactive services in addition to intrusion detection in a robbery or break-in scenario.

The Sustainable Lifestyle Award - Winner: Point, Provo, Utah
Definition of Category: The Sustainable Lifestyle Award is open to companies that have demonstrated how an advanced electronic security system can help reduce energy consumption and costs.

Essential Qualities: This award recognizes any sustainable integrated electronic security system with enhanced features that help reduce energy or resource consumption and environmental impact of a home or business.

Please answer the following questions to be considered for this award.

• How did the use of technologies help your customer reduce energy consumption or energy costs?
• What equipment choices did you recommend to help your customer achieve a more sustainable lifestyle?
• What overall impact has the use of electronic security technologies and remote interactive services had in your customer’s life?

The I Love My Pet Award - Winner: Moon Security, Pasco, Wash.
Definition of Category: The I Love My Pet Award is open to companies that have demonstrated how an advanced electronic security system can aid a customer in caring for their pets.

Essential Qualities: This award acknowledges any electronic security system with enhanced features that can help save a pet’s life or provide a customer with peace of mind through advanced warning or remote access.
